The watch arrived quickly and was exactly what I was looking for. It is a bit heavier than I expected and sized for someone with gorilla-arms, but a $6 resizing charge was not a big deal. It is beautiful... easily the best looking watch I've ever owned. The only reason that I could not give the watch 5 stars has actually nothing to do with the watch itself.
Anyone who has owned a Citizen Eco-Drive watch before already knows that the claim of "never needing a battery" is not exactly true. They do require a new capacitor with which to store the solar charge every 5 to 8 years. Otherwise, you can charge it in light for days, and it will not hold the charge. This particular watch came in that state right out of the box, which may explain the excellent price ($200 for a $400 watch). After reading the entire manual and following the directions to the letter, it would not hold a charge. I called Citizen, and they gave me the same directions to follow. After leaving it in a window for two days with no results, I sent it to Citizen to have the power cell replaced.
I have not gotten it back yet, but it is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. That makes a grand total of about a month and a half waiting, from the time of the original order, until actually getting to wear the darn thing. That is the only negative thing I can say. Luckily, I figured out the very detailed warranty directions that Citizen honored, which means they replaced everything for free.
To sum up... if you are willing to send it off the day you get it to have the power cell replaced and wait, you will love the watch.

I got this watch two weeks ago and so far I do not have any complains about the performance of the watch. Nevertheless, I noticed that this watch has two small marks on the back of it (no big deal) since the watch is performing ok so far, but I think that this watch was use and not brand new as described by the seller.
Other than that I have no other issues about it.
Just keep in mind that the watch is pretty big and a little heavy for some people. This is not an issue for me.

I've been curious about EcoDrive watches and when I saw the price on this one, I went ahead and purchased it. I've had the watch for a couple of weeks now, and I'm rather happy with it. I do also own a Tag Heuer, and this is no Tag. The watch doesn't feel as solidly built, but it's also several hundred dollars cheaper.
It took me a little while to figure out how to set the time (24 hour clock is included on the dial) but once I had it set, it's been running perfectly.
I have an atomic clock in my house that I set my watches to, and this watch only seems to run 2 seconds fast over 48 hours! Not bad at all.
I'm guessing if you buy this watch, you will be very happy with it.

Please note, I give this watch five stars and I give ZERO stars to Amazon!
I bought NEW Citizen Nighthawk watch from Amazon. The item I received was NOT A NEW ITEM. The watch I received appeared to be used. Cylindrical box and warranty booklet were stained. No nylon film on the watch dial and bracelet. And most disappointing the bracelet clasp was all scratched. I am very disappointed with Amazon. As a consumer when I buy a new item I expect it to be REALLY NEW. And if they sell used watches they need to state USED instead of NEW in the item description.

This is the fourth watch I have ever owned. In the past I've had a Timex, a Swatch, a Skagen, and now I have a Citizen. Each watch has served a purpose at various points in my life. This watch is a perfect step up from a Skagen or similarly inexpensive, but well-designed, timepiece.
The watch feels heavy on the wrist if you are accustomed to a mesh or leather band. You will always be aware of it on your wrist. It goes well with both casual and dress attire.
The watch is easy to read and even simpler to set. The intuitively-designed complication and crown operation make using it to track two different time zones quite easy. The date is also easily set and changed. The screw-in crown makes the watch feel sturdy and solid.
The slide-rule is useful and well-designed. It's simplicity and utility makes the watch an even better choice for everyday use. The eco-drive power system makes this a watch you could keep for life.
